About Me!
Education and Professional Background
I attended a fast-track, specialized physical therapy program at Ithaca College, where in just five years, I earned my Bachelor's of Clinical Science, Master's of Physical Therapy, and Doctorate of Physical Therapy and graduated in 2007 . My career has been exclusively dedicated to pediatrics, working in a variety of settings, including outpatient, hospital-based outpatient, early childhood, school, and home health.

- Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) Introductory Level C Certified
- iLs Certified Practitioner
- Astronaut Program Certified
- Trained in the use of Hokoma Lokomat (pediatric and adult)
- Extensive experience with custom wheelchair and equipment evaluations, LMNs, and appeals process
- Significant experience with torticollis and plagiocephaly
- Trained in tethered oral tissues evaluation and treatment
- Extensive management experience overseeing entire departments and supervising physical therapist assistants
Personal Life
I am married to my husband John, and we have five amazing kids: Olivia (16), Austin (15), Vivienne (13), and twins Carrie and Cecilia (9). Outside of work, I enjoy DIY home renovation projects and spending time in the pool with my family.
Why I Started Tiny Bee
At the end of 2020, I discovered Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI), which revolutionized my approach to physical therapy. The amazing results I saw convinced me that I needed to bring this method to as many children as possible, incorporating DMI and other tools in my practice toolbox. This led to the founding of Tiny Bee Therapy, where we offer intensive programs ranging from 1 to 3 weeks, with two sessions a day.
At Tiny Bee, we jumpstart each session with enthusiasm and energy, getting kids actively engaged from the start. Many of our families have endured significant trauma raising a child with special needs. At Tiny Bee, we acknowledge their journey and move forward with a philosophy we call "Transformative Hope." We instill hope and belief in their child's potential for the first time.
